PORTLAND, Ore., March 6 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points Saturday and the Portland Trail Blazers clamped down on defense in their 93-69 victory over Charlotte.

The Trail Blazers' 69 points allowed was lowest total for an opponent this season.

Patty Mills added 12 points and Brandon Roy provided 10 off the bench for Portland, which downed Charlotte for a fourth straight time.

The Bobcats were playing without leading scorer Stephen Jackson, who injured his left hamstring Friday in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Gerald Henderson led Charlotte with 16 points as the Bobcats wrapped up a disappointing road trip at 0-4.
