WASHINGTON, March 5 (UPI) -- John Wall's 18 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists Saturday sparked the Washington Wizards to a 103-96 victory over Minnesota.

The Timberwolves lost despite a 50th straight double-double by Kevin Love, who is now only one shy of Moses Malone's post-merger NBA record of 51 consecutive double-doubles, set in the 1978-79 season.

Andray Blatche led the Wizards' scoring parade with 20 points, adding seven rebounds and seven assists. Maurice Evans added 15 points off the bench as Washington snapped a seven-game losing skid.

Love led Minnesota with 20 points and 21 rebounds. Michael Beasley chipped in 18 points points for the Timberwolves.
