LAS VEGAS, March 5 (UPI) -- Mark Martin marked his 49th career Nationwide Series win Saturday, taking a final-lap lead and hanging on for the victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Martin, appearing in his first Nationwide race in nearly two years, extended his all-time record for wins in the series. He overtook Brad Keselowski on the final lap when Keselowski cut a tire and bumped up against the wall.

Justin Allgaier came in second and Keselowski managed to hang on to third place after the mishap.

Danica Patrick, who gambled that she had enough fuel in the late going, came in fourth, marking the highest-ever finish for a female driver in a Nationwide race.

Daytona 500 champ Trevor Bayne rounded out the Top 5.
