COLLEGE STATION, Texas, March 5 (UPI) -- David Loubeau scored 21 points Saturday and No. 22 Texas A&M claimed the Big 12 Tournament's third seed with a 66-54 win over Texas Tech.
Khris Middleton contributed 13 points and five rebounds for the Aggies (23-7, 10-6 Big 12), who earned a first-round bye in the upcoming conference tourney.

Texas Tech got eight points each from Nathan Walkup and Dash Harris in the win, which ended a two-game losing streak.
The Red Raiders (13-18, 5-11) benefited from 14 points by David Tairu while D'walyn Roberts chipped in with 11 points and 11 boards in the loss.
