Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

PITTSBURGH, March 5 (UPI) -- Ashton Gibbs netted 18 points Saturday, sparking fifth-ranked Pittsburgh to a 60-50 win over No. 19 Villanova and a Big East Conference title.
Nasir Robinson, Gilbert Brown and Travon Woodall each scored nine points for the Panthers (27-4, 15-3 Big East), who earned the top seed in the Big East Tournament and tied a school record for conference victories.
Pittsburgh cleaned up from the foul line, sinking 23-of-26 attempts.
The Wildcats (21-10, 9-9), meanwhile, limped into the tournament with a four-game losing streak.
Maalik Wayns drained six 3-pointers en route to 27 points for Villanova.
