
LONDON, March 4 (UPI) -- Brook Lopez scored 25 points and the New Jersey Nets rode a fourth-quarter surge to a 116-103 win over the Toronto Raptors in London.
The Nets and Raptors are playing a pair of games in London's O2 Arena. The second game is Saturday.
New Jersey trailed 81-78 heading into the fourth quarter but took control with a 20-6 spurt. The Nets ended up outscoring Toronto 38-22 in the fourth period in breaking a six-game losing streak.
Lopez fed Jordan Farmar who hit a 3-point shot to kick off the run. Farmar had another 3-pointer and Sundiata Gaines added seven points before Lopez capped the run with a field goal that made the score 98-86 with 6:41 to go.
Lopez's 25 points led the Nets, who got 18 points and 17 rebounds from Kris Humphries.
Toronto's DeMar DeRozan had a game-high 30 points and Andrea Bargnani added 23 for the Raptors.
