SALT LAKE CITY, March 4 (UPI) -- Raymond Felton gave Denver a five-point lead with 5 seconds to play Thursday and the Nuggets survived a wild finish to defeat Utah 103-101.
Denver won for the fifth time in six games and also produced just its fifth victory in its last 29 trips to Salt Lake City.
The Nuggets rallied from a seven-point deficit in the fourth quarter and Felton's two free throws gave Denver a 103-98 cushion. Devin Harris then made a 3-pointer for the Jazz and Andrei Kirilenko came up with a steal in backcourt just before time ran out.
Kirilenko, however, missed a quick layup attempt that would have forced overtime.
Ty Lawson scored 23 points to lead the Nuggets and Aaron Afflalo had 19.
C.J. Miles had 22 points off the bench for the Jazz, who have lost four in a row.
