Nasir Robinson had 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Panthers (26-4, 14-3 Big East). Pittsburgh can clinch the league's regular-season title Saturday with a win over Villanova or a Notre Dame loss to Connecticut.

Pittsburgh Coach Jamie Dixon, nearing the end of his eighth season with the Panthers, won his 214th game. No other coach in major college basketball history has won that many games in his first eight years as a head coach.

South Florida (9-21, 3-14) got 15 points and 12 rebounds from Jarrid Famous. The Bulls are one of just five clubs in the 16-team Big East Conference to have a losing league record.
