NBA: Toronto 96, New Orleans 90

TORONTO, March 1 (UPI) -- Jose Calderon dominated with 22 points, 16 assists and seven rebounds Tuesday in the Toronto Raptors' 96-90 win over New Orleans.

DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 17 points and Sonny Weems contributed 14 as the Raptors fended off a late Hornets rally and concluded a four-game homestand with a 2-2 record.

Andrea Bargnani returned from a one-game absence due to illness, scoring 14 points, and James Johnson scored 13 for Toronto.

David West scored 19 points and collected 10 rebounds while Carl Landry and Jarrett Jack each donated 17 points for New Orleans, which opened a five-game road trip with a loss.
