NBA: Denver 100, Atlanta 90

DENVER, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- J.R. Smith came off the bench to score 19 points and grab seven rebounds Monday, pacing the Denver Nuggets to a 100-90 win over Atlanta.

Raymond Felton added 16 points, seven assists and five boards as the Nuggets posted their fifth straight home victory.

Wilson Chandler chipped in with 15 points and Kenyon Martin finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds for Denver, which improved to 3-1 since last week's blockbuster trade that dealt superstar Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks.

Nene contributed 13 points and five rebounds for Denver.

Joe Johnson scored 22 points and Al Horford netted 21 to go with 16 boards for the Hawks, who finished a seven-game road trip 3-4.
