Kessel, Crawford, Calvert earn NHL honors

NEW YORK, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Toronto Maple Leafs right winger Phil Kessel Monday was named the NHL's top star for the past week.

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford and Columbus Blue Jackets left winger Matt Calvert were picked as the No. 2 and No. 3 stars for the week that ended Sunday.

Kessel, 23, scored four goals and assisted on three others. Crawford went 2-1 with a 1.95 goals-against average and Calvert had an NHL-high five goals, including his first career hat trick.
