CLEVELAND, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Jodie Meeks struck for 14 second-half points Sunday and the Philadelphia 76ers used his outburst to hold on for a 95-91 win over Cleveland.
Elton Brand and Lou Williams finished with 16 points apiece and Jrue Holiday chipped in with 13 and nine assists for Philadelphia, which nosed above .500 for the first time this season at 30-29.
The Sixers had to turn back a late Cavaliers rally that saw them pull to within 93-91 on Daniel Gibson's 3-pointer with 7 seconds remaining. But Meeks then sealed the win with a pair of free throws.
Evan Turner contributed 10 points off the bench for the victors.
The Cavs got 22 points and 16 rebounds from J.J. Hickson as well as 20 points and 10 assists from Ramon Sessions.
Cleveland's Antawn Jamison, who scored 16 points, left the game with broken left pinky finger.
