LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Kyle Kuric scored five of Louisville's six overtime points Sunday, pacing the 16th-ranked Cardinals to a 62-59 win over No. 6 Pittsburgh.
Kuric (12 points, seven rebounds) connected on a 3-pointer 3:52 into the extra frame to put the Cardinals ahead for good at 59-56.
He later added a two-handed slam-dunk after Pitt's Gilbert Brown missed an easy layup with 9 seconds remaining.
Peyton Siva scored 14 points and Mike Marra came off the bench to add 11 for the Cardinals (22-7, 11-5 Big East), who remained undefeated in conference play at home and improved their changes for a double-bye in the Big East Tournament.
Brown ended with 20 points, Ashton Gibbs chipped in with 14 and Brad Wanamaker added 13 points and 12 boards for the Panthers (25-4, 13-3), who are seeking to clinch their first regular-season conference title since 2003-04.
