COL BKB: Connecticut 67, Cincinnati 59

CINCINNATI, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Jeremy Lamb scored 17 points and Kemba Walker added 16 Sunday, boosting No. 15 Connecticut to a 67-59 victory over Cincinnati.

The Huskies (21-7, 9-7 Big East) ended a two-game losing streak with the help of Roscoe Smith, who contributed 11 points and five rebounds, and Shabazz Napier, who chipped in 11 points and six assists.

Connecticut went 10-of-19 from 3-point territory, getting three treys each from Smith and Lamb en route to the victory.

The Bearcats (22-7, 9-7) saw their three-game winning streak snapped despite 14 points and eight rebounds from Yancy Gates.
