DALLAS, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Loui Eriksson and Alex Goligoski scored third-period goals Saturday, rallying the Dallas Stars to 3-2 comeback victory over Nashville.
The Stars were on a power play with less than 4 minutes remaining in a tie game when Goligoski faked a shot and instead slipped a pass to Eriksson, who put it past Pekka Rinne for the go-ahead tally.
Goligoski, acquired Monday in a trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins, erased a 2-1 Nashville lead with a marker 6 minutes into the final frame -- his first goal for Dallas.
Tom Wandell also scored and Kari Lehtonen stopped 25-of-27 shots for the Stars, who entered the game tied with Nashville with 70 points in the tightly packed Western Conference playoff standings.
Ryan Suter and Colin Wilson both scored in the second period for the Nashville and Rinne turned aside 22-of-25 shots as the Predators went down to defeat for the fourth straight time.
