Dunleavy out 6 weeks after surgery

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The Indiana Pacers announced Friday forward Mike Dunleavy had surgery to repair a fractured left thumb and would be out of action at least six weeks.

Dunleavy suffered the injury during the opening quarter of Indiana's win Tuesday at Washington.

He has played 54 games this season with averages of 11.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

This is Dunleavy's ninth NBA season, having been dealt from Golden State to Indiana during his fifth year in the league. He has played in 620 games and has a career scoring average of 12.1 points per contest.
