BOGOTA, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Spaniard Lourdes Dominguez Lino claimed her second career Copa Colsanitas title Sunday, rallying to down Mathilde Johansson in three sets in Bogota.
After losing the first set, the seventh-seeded Dominguez Lino found a second wind and came back to post a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 decision over the unseeded Frenchwoman, repeating her 2006 title to notch her second career WTA Tour victory.
Johansson, playing in her first career final, surrendered 13 double-faults to four for her opponent, and won only 29 percent of her second serve points.
Dominguez Lino, 29, is currently ranked No.77 and has entered the Copa Colsanitas every year since 2000. She advanced to the title match when semifinalist Petra Martic was forced to withdraw due to illness.
