Larrazabal, Coles in front in India

NEW DELHI, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Pablo Larrazabal and Robert Coles each had eagles Saturday and are tied for the lead heading into the final day of the European Tour's Avantha Masters in India.

However, the tournament is still making up time lost Thursday because of heavy fog and eight groups have to finish their third rounds Sunday before the final round can start. Coles, who completed 16 holes of his third round, is among those needing to finish early Sunday.

Larrazabal had an 18th-hole eagle and finished the third round with a 6-under-par 66 to get to 11-under 205 for the tournament. Coles is 4-under for the third round with two holes to play.

SSP Chowrasia and Rafa Echenique each shot 5-under 67 in the third round and are tied for third, one stroke off the lead, with Sujjan Singh, who had a third-round 68. Six players are 9-under.

Coles's third round included three birdies, one bogey and an eagle at the 374-yard, par-4 15th hole.

Larrazabal started the round tied for 15th but rocketed up the leaderboard with four birdies in a five-hole span from 6-10. He had a bogey at the 12th hole but came back with a birdie at 14. His eagle at the 537-yard 18th came when he hit a 4-iron from about 200 yards to within 10 feet of the cup and then made the putt.
