
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Aaron Baddeley bypassed Fred Couples to grab the top spot after three rounds of the Northern Trust Open Saturday, firing a 4-under-par 67.
Baddeley's performance gave him a 10-under 203, one stroke better than Couples, the second-round leader who spent much of the day ahead of the pack but ended up carding a 1-under 70, and Kevin Na (67) at minus-9.
Vijay Singh registered a 4-under 67 to grab sole possession of fourth place at 8-under 205 at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Following tied for fifth place at minus-6 were Ryan Moore (70) and John Senden (71), while Harrison Frazar, Jimmy Walker, Robert Allenby, Justin Rose, Stewart Cink, Spencer Levin and J.B. Holmes all shared seventh at 5-under 208.
