Not only did St. Louis finally pick up two straight wins, Buffalo has suffered consecutive losses for the first time since late December.

T.J. Oshie and David Backes scored in the second period and Vladimir Sobotka added an empty-net goal, giving the Blues their seventh win in their last 10 trips to Buffalo.

Conklin was starting in place of the injured Jaroslav Halak and improved his career record against the Sabres to 7-1.

Ryan Miller took the loss while making 21 saves.
