Friday was the last day a player who had qualified for the tournament could announce whether he was skipping the event, but no one withdrew. That means world No. 1 Lee Westwood will meet No. 64 Toru Taniguchi in Wednesday's first round.

Taniguchi has won 16 times on the Japan Tour and reached the semifinals of this event a decade ago.

Second-ranked Martin Kaymer will face Seung-yul Noh in the opening round and Tiger Woods, ranked third, will be challenged by Thomas Bjorn. Woods has won the tournament three times.

Phil Mickelson's first-round opponent will be Brendan Jones and 2010 champion Ian Poulter will open defense of his title against Stewart Cink.

There will be 24 Americans in the field along with six players each from England and Australia, and five from South Africa. Fifteen countries will be represented.
