COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Jarret Stoll scored the only goal in the shootout Wednesday to keep the Los Angeles Kings rolling with a 4-3 victory over Columbus.

The Kings have gone 8-0-2 over their last 10 outings. They were forced into overtime action against the Blue Jackets after Kris Russell tied it for Columbus with just 1:23 to go in regulation.

Los Angeles let a one-goal lead get away three times, but Jonathan Quick stopped the three shots he saw in the shootout after making 21 saves overall.

Stoll's goal came in the second round of the shootout. He beat Mathieu Garon with a wrist shot to the top right corner.

Drew Doughty, Andrei Loktionov and Justin Williams scored for the Kings, who snapped a two-game Columbus winning streak. The Blue Jackets have accumulated at least one point in 11 of their last 14 games.

Garon gave up three goals on 29 shots to take the loss.
