TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Kimmo Timonen scored in the seventh round of a shootout Tuesday, handing the Philadelphia Flyers a 4-3 decision over Tampa Bay.

After Timonen beat Dwayne Roloson with his tiebreaker tally, the Flyers' Brian Boucher made it hold up for the win by stopping Martin St. Louis and Philadelphia avoided a season's sweep at the hands of the Bolts.

James van Riemsdyk notched a goal and an assist while Darroll Powe and Scott Hartnell also found the net for the Eastern Conference-leading Flyers, who beat Southeast Division-leading Tampa Bay for the first time in four attempts this season.

Boucher made 24 saves for Philadelphia.

Dominic Moore, Vincent Lecavalier and Teddy Purcell all scored and Roloson ended up with 26 saves for Tampa Bay.
