Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
HOUSTON, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Courtney Lee came off the bench to pop in five 3-pointers on his way to 22 points Monday and the Houston Rockets dispatched Denver 121-102.
Lee connected on 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, Aaron Brooks added 18 and Shane Battier chipped in with 17 as the Rockets drained 14 three-pointers.
Chase Budinger ended with 15 points and six rebounds and Kevin Martin chipped in with 13 points for the last-place Rockets, who broke a two-game losing streak.
Arron Afflalo led the Nuggets with 17 points and Carmelo Anthony was held to 16 points on 4-of-14 shooting in Denver's fourth loss over a five-game span.
