COL BKB: Georgetown 69, Marquette 60

WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Chris Wright pumped in 20 points and Austin Freeman added 17 Sunday, propelling No. 11 Georgetown to a 69-60 decision over Marquette.

Wright distributed five assists and Hollis Thompson pulled down 13 rebounds to go with five points for Georgetown (20-5, 9-4 Big East), which posted its eighth straight win.

Henry Sims' 3-point play with 7 minutes remaining put the Hoyas up 55-50 and triggered a 9-1 run that extended Georgetown's lead to 10 points with 3:45 left, effectively icing the game.

Darius Johnson-Odom connected for 20 points and Davante Gardner chipped in with 12 for the Golden Eagles (15-10, 6-6).
