COL BKB: Texas 69, Baylor 60

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Tristan Thompson and Jordan Hamilton each scored 17 points for No. 3 Texas Saturday and the Longhorns held off Baylor for a 69-60 victory.

Thompson pulled down 13 rebounds and Hamilton added eight boards for the Longhorns (22-3, 10-0 Big 12), who saw their big lead whittled to three points with 2 minutes left but managed to hang on for the win.

Gary Johnson netted 13 points while Cory Joseph and J'Covan Brown each chipped in 11 as the Longhorns notched their 10th straight win.

LaceDarius Dunn pumped in 26 points and Perry Jones added 13 and six rebounds for the Bears (16-8, 6-5), who saw their four-game winning streak against Texas snapped.
