Girl, 17, claims relationship with Jets QB

GREENWICH, Conn., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- A 17-year-old high school student says she had sex with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez after meeting him at a Manhattan night club on New Year's Eve.

The girl, identified by the New York Post as Eliza Kruger of Greenwich, Conn., told the sports gossip Web site Deadspin.com Wednesday she "hooked up" with Sanchez at his New Jersey home several days after the New Year's Eve encounter.

"We went back to his place in Jersey after dinner," Deadspin quoted the girl -- who it identified only as E.K. -- as saying, "He lives on a golf course. There was a big storm."

The Web site said when asked if she had "hooked up" with the 24-year-old Jets signal-caller, the high school senior said, "Yeah."

She also reportedly said her relationship with Sanchez has continued after going to his home.

The Post reported Eliza Kruger is the daughter of wealthy Connecticut financier Konrad "Chip" Kruger.

Kruger's mother said neither she nor her daughter wanted to comment about the Sanchez story.

The Jets, meanwhile, said the team also wouldn't comment about the personal life of their unmarried quarterback. There was no word on the matter from the quarterback himself or his agent.
