GAINESVILLE, Fla., Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Chandler Parsons struck for 17 points, 12 rebounds and five assists Saturday, pacing No. 23 Florida to a 70-68 decision over No. 11 Kentucky.
The Gators (18-5, 7-2 SEC) also used 12 points from Kenny Boynton to post their fifth win in six games.

Vernon Macklin added 11 points for Florida, which won for the fifth time in six games and likely will make a significant move in the polls with the big win over its SEC rival.
The Wildcats (16-6, 4-4), meanwhile, suffered a second consecutive two-point loss after also falling to Mississippi this week by a 71-69 score.
Brandon Knight put in 24 points and Terrence Jones added 18 and seven boards for Kentucky.
