TORONTO, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Colby Armstrong's goal in the final round of a shootout Tuesday handed the Toronto Maple Leafs a 4-3 decision over Florida.

After Armstrong beat Scott Clemmensen to give the Leafs the advantage in the third round of the tiebreaker, Jean-Sebastien Giguere made it hold up for Toronto victory by stopping Chris Higgins on the Panthers' last try.

Mikhail Grabovski, Nikolai Kulemin and Kris Versteeg all scored in regulation and Giguere turned aside 30-of-33 shot as the Leafs snapped a three-game losing streak.

Florida got a goal and an assist each from Stephen Weiss and Cory Stillman and David Booth also scored for the Panthers, who lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Clemmensen made 23 saves.
