NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Brook Lopez struck for 27 points and Travis Outlaw added 21 Monday in the New Jersey Nets' 115-99 victory over Denver.

Six Nets players scored at least nine points and Devin Harris contributed a career-high 18 assists in the victory, which featured the first appearance by Nuggets superstar forward Carmelo Anthony in Newark since talks on trading him to New Jersey fell apart.

Anthony Morrow went 4-of-4 from 3-point territory en route to 18 points as the Nets won for the fifth time in six home games.

Anthony was booed constantly by the Nets fans, displeased that drawn-out trade efforts had gone for naught. He shook off the abuse and scored 37 points to go with nine rebounds.

Chauncey Billups added 19 points for Denver, which dropped its second straight road game on an East Coast road swing.
