COL BKB: San Diego State 96, Wyoming 57

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Chase Tapley fired in 24 points for No. 4 San Diego State Saturday and the Aztecs recovered from their first loss this season with a 96-57 pounding of Wyoming.

Tapley went 10-of-15 from the field and James Rahon made four 3-pointers en route to 14 points for the Aztecs (21-1, 6-1 MWC), who bounced back from a loss this week to Brigham Young.

D.J. Gay and Billy White also reached double figures with 12 and 10 points respectively for SDSU.

Desmar Jackson led the Cowboys (8-13, 1-6) with 19 points and seven rebounds. Djibril Thiam and JayDee Luster contributed with 10 apiece.
