NBA: Dallas 102, Atlanta 91

DALLAS, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki popped in 19 points and Jason Terry added 18 for the Dallas Mavericks Saturday in their 102-91 victory over Atlanta.

Terry distributed 11 assists and Tyson Chandler and Jason Kidd each netted 12 points for the Mavericks, who won for the fifth time in six games.

DeShawn Stevenson added 11 points, including three 3-pointers, as the Mavericks went 8-of-21 from beyond the arc.

The Hawks, meanwhile, fell for the third time in five games.

Joe Johnson led Atlanta with 27 points. Josh Smith added 17 and Jamal Crawford chipped in 11 off the bench.
