NBA: New Orleans 112, Golden State 103

OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- David West scored 22 points and helped New Orleans build a 25-point lead in the fourth quarter Wednesday on its way to a 112-103 win over Golden State.

The Hornets won their 10th straight contest at the start of a three-game road trip. New Orleans will visit Sacramento and Phoenix before returning home.

New Orleans shot 62 percent from the field, with West making 8-of-12 shots. Trevor Ariza was 7-of-11 with 19 points and Chris Paul was 7-of-9 for 17.

The Hornets had a 104-79 lead before a late Golden State charge.

Monta Ellis scored 26 points, Dorell Wright had 25 and Stephen Curry had 20 for the Warriors, who have lost three in a row.
