NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich was named coach of the Western Conference all-star team, the NBA announced Tuesday.

The East squad's coach has not yet been named.

Popovich has guided the Spurs to a 38-7 record so far this season, the best in the West. He is in his 15th season with the Spurs and had won four NBA titles. He also was the conference's all-star coach in 2005.

The all-star game will be Feb. 20 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
