PROVO, Utah, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Jimmer Fredette scored 21 and dished out five assists Tuesday to lead ninth-ranked Brigham Young past Texas Christian 83-67.
All five starters for Brigham Young (18-1, 4-0 Mountain West) scored in double figures and the Cougars shot 49 percent from the field.

Jackson Emery added 17 points and was 5-of-7 from 3-point range in BYU's eighth win in a row.
Ronnie Moss led TCU (10-10, 1-4) with 27 points and Garlon Green scored 10.
Brigham Young took control of the game early with a 10-2 run off the opening tip and then scored 12 consecutive points later in the half to extend its lead to 25-7.
The Cougars led 47-30 at halftime and did not allow TCU to get closer than eight points in the second half.
