NBA: Atlanta 100, Sacramento 98

ATLANTA, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson's two free throws with 0.6 seconds left in the game Monday lifted the Atlanta Hawks to a 100-98 victory over Sacramento.

Johnson connected on a reverse layup in the last minute to briefly give Atlanta the lead, but Tyreke Evans quickly responded with a lay-in to produce a 98-98 tie with 11.6 seconds to play.

That set up Johnson's winning free throws after a foul by Evans with less than 1 second left. He finished with 36 points, going 16-of-27 from the field, with six assists and five rebounds.

Al Horford contributed 23 points, nine rebounds, seven blocks and six assists in the Hawks' win, their sixth in seven games. Josh Smith contributed 19 points and 10 boards.

DeMarcus Cousins put in 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Kings, losers of five of six games.
