COLUMBIA, Mo., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Marcus Denmon
scored 14 points Monday and No. 14 Missouri used a ball-hawking defense to dispatch 24th-ranked Kansas State 75-59.
Phil Pressey added 13 points and recorded four steals, part of 15 thefts overall by the Tigers (16-3, 2-2 Big 12), who harassed the Wildcats into committing 23 turnovers.
Kim English, Ricardo Ratliffe and Laurence Bowers contributed 10 points apiece for Missouri, which defeated Kansas State at home for the fourth straight time.
The Wildcats (13-6, 1-3) were led by Jacob Pullen, who was held to 16 points on 4-of-11 shooting.
Jordan Henriquez-Roberts added 14 points and six rebounds for KSU.
