RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Jussi Jokinen scored two goals Saturday, including the go-ahead tally in the middle period, in the Carolina Hurricanes' 6-4 defeat of Tampa Bay.

Jokinen's power-play marker highlighted a three-goal, second-period outburst that erased a 3-2 deficit and carried the Hurricanes to their fourth win in five games.

Jokinen also added an assist. Eric Staal contributed a goal and two assists and Erik Cole had three assists to back Cam Ward, who made 30 saves for Carolina.

Simon Gagne notched a pair of goals and Dwayne Roloson turned aside 25 shots as the Southeast Division-leading Lightning lost for the third time in four games.
