NBA: New Orleans 88, Charlotte 81

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- David West's 26 points and eight rebounds Saturday led the New Orleans Hornets to an 88-81 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor all scored in double figures to help the Hornets to their fourth straight win.

The Bobcats, who have now lost two straight, were led by Stephen Jackson's 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Gerald Wallace also scored 15, while Kwame Brown and D.J. Augustin had a dozen each.

The Hornets pulled away in the final 7:53, going on a decisive 13-4 run started by a West 3-pointer.
