HATTIESBURG, Miss., Jan. 15 (UPI) -- R.L. Horton netted 18 points and D.J. Newbill added 17 Saturday, pacing Southern Mississippi's 86-69 rout of No. 22 Central Florida.
Horton grabbed six rebounds and Newbill had nine as the Golden Eagles (14-3, 3-1 C- USA) handed a second straight loss to UCF.

Maurice Bolden and Gary Flowers each chipped in 16 points for Southern Mississippi.
The Knights (14-2, 1-2), who started the season with 14 straight wins, got 20 points from Marcus Jordan. Keith Clanton contributed 14 points and seven rebounds.
