COL BKB: Pittsburgh 74, Seton Hall 53

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Gary McGhee scored 13 points and hauled down nine rebounds for No. 5 Pittsburgh Saturday and the Panthers spanked Seton Hall 74-53.

Talib Zanna added 10 points off the bench and Brad Wanamaker chipped in with nine points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Panthers (17-1, 5-0 Big East), who beat an unranked opponent at home for the 46th straight time.

Travon Woodall's trey gave Pitt a 9-7 lead early in the first half and triggered a 14-4 surge that put the Panthers in control the rest of the way.

Herb Pope scored 15 points and collected 10 rebounds for the Pirates (8-10, 2-4).
