COL BKB: Temple 83, St. Bonaventure 55

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A 19-point performance from Ramone Moore and a solid defensive effort Wednesday carried No. 23 Temple to an 83-55 whipping of St. Bonaventure.

The Owls outscored the Bonnies by 20 points over the final 10 minutes of the first half to take a 49-28 advantage at intermission.

Scootie Randall delivered 17 points for Temple while both Khalif Wyatt and Lavoy Allen had 15. The Owls improved to 12-3 for the season and are 3-0 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. They have won three in a row.

St. Bonaventure (9-6, 1-1) was led by 12 points from Andrew Nicholson and 11 each from Ogo Adegboye and Demitrius Conger. The Bonnies, who had won their previous two contests, made 19 field goals and shot 35 percent.
