Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Derek Morris scored to cap a three-goal Phoenix comeback effort Tuesday and the Coyotes notched a 4-3 victory over Columbus.
With Phoenix trailing 3-1 after Kristian Huselius scored for the Blue Jackets on a power play early in the second period, Eric Belanger began the Coyotes' comeback with a marker only 21 seconds later.
Radim Vrbata's tally tied the contest 36 seconds into the final frame and Morris got the decisive goal on a slap shot with less than 9 minutes remaining in the game.
Vernon Fiddler scored and Ilya Bryzgalov made 37 saves for Phoenix.
Jared Boll, Rostislav Klesla and Kristian Huselius scored for Columbus and Mathieu Garon allowed four goals on 28 shots.
