PHOENIX, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Steve Nash struck for 20 points and had 17 assists for Phoenix Sunday, boosting the Suns to a 108-100 win over Cleveland.

Nash helped turn back a Cavaliers rally late in the game after J.J. Hickson and Antawn Jamison had connected on layups in the final 30 seconds to trim Cleveland's deficit to six points at 106-100.

But the Suns' guard iced the game with two free throws with 7.7 seconds remaining to account for the final margin.

Jared Dudley scored 21 points and Vince Carter chipped in 19 points for Phoenix.

The Suns played much of the game without Grant Hill, who suffered a mild right knee sprain in the first quarter.

Manny Harris scored a game-high 27 points, and Hickson and Jamison each added 23 points for the Cavs.
