NBA: LA Clippers 105, Golden State 91

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin notched a team-record 23rd straight double-double for the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday, helping them to a 105-91 win over Golden State.

Griffin ended with 23 points and 12 rebounds, surpassing Swen Nater for the franchise record for double-doubles set in 1978 when the Clippers were known as the Buffalo Braves.

Eric Gordon scored 25 points, and Baron Davis also collected a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists as the Clippers won for the fourth time in six games.

Golden State was led by Dorell Wright with 27 points, and Monta Ellis chipped in with 13 points, six assists and five boards.
