NORMAN, Okla., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Khris Middleton put in 16 points and Naji Hibbert added 14 Saturday, helping No. 16 Texas A&M begin its Big 12 schedule with a 69-51 win over Oklahoma.
B.J. Holmes contributed 13 points for the Aggies (14-1, 1-0 Big 12).

The Aggies were threatened early in the second half when the Sooners got to within six points. But they then went on a 16-2 run to go in front by 20 with 8 1/2 minutes left, socking the game away.
Andrew Fitzgerald scored 17 points for the Sooners (8-7, 0-1), who fell behind early and took their first loss since Dec. 18.
