NHL: New York Rangers 3, Dallas 2 (SO)

DALLAS, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Rookie Mats Zuccarello scored in the second round of the shootout Friday and the New York Rangers won their second straight with a 3-2 decision over Dallas.

New York never led in regulation but twice came from behind -- once on a shorthanded goal by Ruslan Fedotenko 2:49 into the second period and then a power-play tally by Artem Anisimov 8:04 into the third.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped Jamie Benn, Brad Richards and Mike Ribeiro in the shootout after making 28 saves over 65 minutes. It was New York's fourth win in six games.

Despite holding the lead in the Pacific Division by six points, Dallas has lost its last five home games. Kari Lehtonen made 29 saves in defeat.
