COL BKB: Missouri 98, North Alabama 58

COLUMBIA, Mo., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Kim English hit on 6-of-9 attempts from 3-point range and scored 20 points Wednesday, helping No. 8 Missouri coast to a 98-58 win over North Alabama.

Missouri (14-1) played its final non-conference game of the season. The Tigers will open their Big 12 campaign Saturday against Colorado.

Missouri put seven players in double figures, with Laurence Bowers and Justin Safford both contributing 16 points. The Tigers have won nine in a row since falling to Georgetown Nov. 30.

The Lions (6-9) were led by Beaumont Beasley with 13 points.

Missouri owned a 57-31 halftime lead.
