COL BKB: Texas 79, Arkansas 46

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Jordan Hamilton scored 16 points and No. 12 Texas stayed undefeated at home Tuesday with a 79-46 non-conference rout of Arkansas.

Gary Johnson contributed 13 points and nine rebounds for the Longhorns (12-2), who posted their sixth straight overall win and moved to 9-0 on their home court.

Jeff Peterson scored 12 points and Rotnei Clarke added 11 for Arkansas (10-3).

Texas and Arkansas played each other for many years as members of the now-defunct Southwest Conference. The Razorbacks hold an 86-67 lead in the all-time series between the schools.
