TORONTO, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Tuukka Rask stopped 36-of-37 shots and Marc Savard netted the go-ahead goal Monday in the Boston Bruins' 2-1 decision over Toronto.

Rask was sharp throughout, especially in the third period when he stopped all 18 Maple Leafs shots to nail down only his third win of year.

Savard's goal with 4 1/2 minutes left in the second period came on a long-range slap shot and Nathan Horton added a tally and an assist for Boston, which finished a five-game road trip with a 3-0-2 record.

Mikhail Grabovski scored and James Reimer made 31 saves as Toronto lost for the sixth time in eight games.
